Shoesday Tuesday: November Shoe Dazzle Showroom

I have to admit, I enjoy looking forward to what the Shoe Dazzle stylists will put in my showroom each month- I absolutely adore shoes (as you all know), and it's so fun for me to see what it out there. I mentioned last week that I'm in need of some more flats for my new job and that is still true. I'm waiting a couple of weeks to see if my feet grow accustomed to the new job, or if flats are in my future for a long time to come. Even if I decide that my feet can handle more height that just a basic flat, I somehow doubt I'll ever be wearing these to work:

"Janine"

This is by far the best shoe in my Shoe Dazzle showroom this month and boy is it tempting! Look at the button detail and the color blocking of the faux-leather! I'm head-over-heels in love, but I know that at the end of a long day at work, my feet will NOT be in love. Still, I could justify buying them because they'd be great for just about anything else, don't you think? Still, I'll likely pass on them, if for no other reason than to request a second selection- of flats and low-heel options, of course. In case you are curious, here are the remaining items in my November showroom:

I do love my boot choice this month, and of course "Janine," but other than that, I'm underwhelmed. None of the bags are all that appealing to me, and as I've said before, I've never felt as though the jewelry options were worth the $39.95 price tag. Any thoughts on your end? I'll be sure to post my second round of options as soon as I get them.

In the meantime, why don't you participate in my weekly Twitter #ShoesdayTuesday game? It's a fun way to share your favorite shoes, or shoe sales, or just about anything else related to shoes. My favorite tweet so far came from @gregorvios who posted this picture of what I believe are a pair of ice-climbing boots or snow shoes of some kind. Participating is simple: just tweet whatever you like- a statement, a picture, a link- and include the hashtag #ShoesdayTusesday in your tweet. I'll post my favorites here on the blog. Get to it!

  2. That shoe is FABULOUS. The best part is it looks EXPENSIVE...like "I just blew my whole paycheck" expensive :-)

  3. ShoeDazzle is the best gift I've ever given myself - I bought 3 shoes/boots, a bag and a jewelry selection this month (I'm now broke!!).

I was skeptical of the jewelry too at first, but then I ordered some of it and was totally impressed. Their jewelry is nothing like F21 or other inexpensive stores. ShoeDazzle jewelry is really, really well made, high quality, substantial and well, well worth the $$.

For those of you who haven't tried the service, go to ShoeDazzle.com - it's the best thing you'll ever do for yourself!

  4. Melanie, if you search "Shoe Dazzle" in the search box on my log, or even click the "Shoe Dazzle" label at the bottom of this post, you'll see all the posts I've done about this site. It's a pretty fun shoe-shopping concept. Take a look!

  5. I, too, am enrolled in shoedazzle but I get underwhelmed at my shoerooms. I always feel like they kinda hit the mark buit nothing really drives me crazy. I checked out http://www.justfab.com/ and it is the same idea as shoedazzle. Actually, the EXACT same idea but I have found the shoes they pick are just more 'me'. You should check it out!
