Shoesday Tuesday... not really

Ok, I know it's Shoesday Tuesday, but instead I'm going to post about the red dress. Last night was the AMT company Christmas party and it was great. The food was amazing, the entertainment was great and we all had a blast. Here is what I wore:

Dress: Made by me with $22 in fabric and notions
Shoes: Deb Shops, I forget how much...
Jewelry: Who knows- I pulled it from my collection

Sorry for not having better details on the accessories. The bracelet I was hunting for turned out to be in my jewelry drawer all along. I took a chain link and faux-pearl necklace and wrapped it around my wrist several times creating somewhat chunky, funky pearl and chain bracelet which is pretty much EXACTLY what I had been searching for in stores (unsuccessfully, I might add). I wore a pair of pearl chandelier earrings as well and finished off the look with my black satin and rhinestone pumps. And yes, I'm wearing a crinoline with the dress. How else could I get it to puff out like that. I'm not gonna lie to you, the previous night I watched the original White Christmas movie on TV and fell in love with all the petticoats, which was mainly my inspiration for wearing one with this dress. Thank goodness the skirt was full enough. I received lots of compliments on it and finally was able to answer "Yes" when asked, "Did you make your dress?" Usually the answer is "No" simply because I sm so busy making dresses, etc. for everyone else.

Anyway, here are some lovely pictures from the party:

A bunch of the gang in our Christmas finery. (From left to right: Tabitha, Brance, Jen, me, David, Angela and Gabe)

Brance showing off his festive socks. Clearly he took this post to heart.

Jen and I looking rather festive in our gren & red, respectively. She's a hottie.

If any of you have holiday party outfits you'd like to send me, feel free and I'll post them on the blog!
